MIA's 2017: Lander Gyselinck & Fulco Ottervanger nominated as "Musician of the Year&quo

Holy moly! That's a way to start your week: the jury of the Belgian Music Industry Awards announced their nominees and we saw some familiar faces amongst them in the category "Musician of the Year":

Lander Gyselinck strikes again! Just like last year and the year before, the drummer of i.a. LABtrio is nominated as "Musician of the Year". Wondering if he will receive the award like he did the last two years. We are rooting for you, Lander!

Newcomer in the same category is Fulco Ottervanger, piano player & composer of i.a. De Beren Gieren. 2017 was a fruitful year for the musician: he was appointed as city composer (Ghent), released the wildly praised album 'Dug Out Skyscrapers' with De Beren Gieren (Sdban Ultra), wrote a new composition for Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen as well as music for children's show ‘Slumberland’ with An Pierlé and so on. Thumbs up and other fingers crossed!
