This Saturday: Release EP 'First Provocations' (Echoes of Zoo) during Brussels Jazz Festival

Echoes of Zoo - the latest project of saxophone player Nathan Daems with fellows Bart Vervaeck (guitar), Lieven Van Pée (electric bass) & Falk Schrauwen (drums) - will proudly present their debut EP 'First Provocations' in premiere during the Brussels Jazz Festival this Saturday (12/01). Come check it out!

Can't be there? They will present the EP later on this month during Kraakpand in Handelsbeurs Concertzaal in Ghent (26/01) and next month at the Jazz Bar during Thrill Festival in Edinburgh (09.02). On 'First Provocations' melodies, groove & improvisation merge into psychedelic jazz with a punk attitude; a small revolt with voiced animal language. No wonder Echoes of Zoo fits in the list of bands like Ibrahim Maalouf, Black Flower, Sons of Kemet and Dans Dans.
